My name is Stephanie and I am originally from Florida. I have been teaching in Colombia, South America for the past 3 1/2 years. I teach 2nd grade in Armenia that is a part of the coffee triangle of Colombia named, “El Eje Cafetero.”
The culture in this region of Colombia is so focused on harvesting coffee that the people call the children “Cafeteritos.” This influence is what has inspired my title “Teaching Cafeteritos.”
